INVESTIGATION AND PROCEEDINGS · WASL LEGAL
Case and Evidence Review in Criminal Proceedings
In criminal matters, we consider the person’s role in the proceedings, the account of events, statements, service records and available evidence together. Procedural steps during investigation and trial are assessed in light of the file. Facts, evidence and procedural stage differ in every case; any assessment therefore depends on review of the case file and available documents, and no outcome is guaranteed.
A useful first review establishes the sequence of events, each party’s position and what the available records show. It then considers the client’s objective, steps already taken and the current procedural stage. This helps identify open questions and the documents that may support a clear next-step assessment.
Matters we can assess
